Student Government Association’s Meet the Candidates: Live Stream
The Rowan University‘s Student Government Association held a Meet The Candidates even for its 2010 election, and as a service to the community, RTN shot the event and streamed it live via the Internet.

Why Class Should Be Canceled
My friend believes her class tomorrow ought to be canceled preemptively due to weather. In all honesty, the weather isn’t so great out there (especially given the quality of Glassboro snow removal), but her first attempt wasn’t persuasive enough, so we decided to take another crack at it. Monroe Memorial
This past Friday, RTN covered the Craig Monroe Memorial in the Enyon Ball Room. Craig Monroe was the dean of Communications at Rowan University, and had a long history with a great many collegues across the country. In recognition of that, in partnership with the Rowan University IT department, the memorial service was streamed live. Read more »

Laconica Experiment
I’ve managed to install and do some basic configuration of a Laconi.ca Microblog, which can be found at http://laconica.ivankowalenko.com. It’s not something I plan to do too much with, nor do I expect a great amount of participation, but I figured it was something worth playing with and experimenting with.
